When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly in our bright and open reception area and we’ll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. One of our veterinary technicians will meet you in the exam room as soon as possible after your arrival.
Our veterinary technician will start by discussing with you the reason for your visit and begin asking about your pet’s medical history, and current condition, gathering data for the doctor. Your pet will be taken to our treatment area, weighed and have vitals taken and returned to you shortly.
Any samples needed for a wellness visit will be collected at that time.
One of our veterinarians will then examine your pet, ask you further questions and will recommend diagnostic tests if needed. If tests have been run, which can usually be done in the practice, your doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan if warranted. Wellness vaccines will be administered in the exam room with you present.
The exam room is a great place to ask questions about your pet’s health or the health care that we are delivering. We want to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information and care that we are providing.
Your veterinary technician will come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information and answer any wellness and care questions you may have after talking with the doctor. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up appointments.
Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
